Should the “accredited, inactive” teach-out programs wish to accept new, non-Argosy students into a program created as a function of the teach-out, they must separately apply for initial accreditation. Students may choose from one of four tracks: neuropsychology, health psychology, child psychology, forensic psychology, or general psychology. The program has been accredited by the APA since 1991, Northern Arizona’s Ph.D. in Counseling and School Psychology only recently earned APA accreditation (in 2017), and the program is offered through the Department of Educational Psychology.
